Rainout Information
Oct 15 2008 - DC

We try to have this page updated by 4:30pm on days when conditions are questionable. A quick look at the field status box to the right of this page should tell you if the fields are open or closed. For more information, click the arrows next to "Field Status". If this page is not updated, you should assume the games are being played. Be aware conditions often change after 4:30pm and games may be called at the field while this page may or may not be able to be updated.

About T&C Football

Town and Country Football provides both boys and girls between the ages of 5-12 the opportunity to learn and play football.  We offer both flag football and tackle football programs as part of the Central Texas Youth Football League (CTYFL).  We also offer 5 man flag football as part of the T&C Flag Football League.  While we strive to teach and play competitive football, ours is a recreational football league where everyone plays and enjoys the fun and benefits of the greatest game in the universe!  T&C Football does not discriminate against children based on their weight.  We have no weight limit for players (except PeeWee tackle) and all divisions are based strictly on age.  This better prepares players who wish to play in Middle and High School and fits exactly into the T&C goal of providing a place for ALL children to enjoy youth sports!

Football is currently offered only in the Fall with a pre-season Summer Camp just prior to the start of the regular season.  Tackle football practice starts around August 1st and the season runs until early November.  Flag football practice will usually start a week to 10 days after tackle and finish at the same time.  The older tackle teams usually practice 4 days a week until the first game and 3 days per week through the remainder of the season.  Younger tackle and all flag teams will practice 1-3 days per week at the coach's discretion.  All practices are held at T&C.  Tackle games and Pee Wee Flag games are scheduled for Saturdays, and while our home field is T&C, we do travel on occasion to the other fields within our league (CTYFL).  T&C Flag league games are usually Friday nights or Saturday mornings and usually played at the T&C complex.

CTYFL Notice:  “Registration for T&C football is open to all children, ages 4* – 12 for football (4 yr olds may ONLY play Midget Flag).  Registration must remain open until August 11th 2008 and all who wish to register by this date must be accepted as long as they make required payments, provide required CTYFL documents and meet all other CTYFL eligibility requirements.  No try-outs will be held - all children who register for T&C football  will play.  Violations of this CTYFL policy will not be tolerated.  Please report any violation of this policy to the CTYFL Vice-President of Football (for football violations) at the email address below for immediate investigation and action: Football: predmark@yahoo.com
